14-Day Road-Trip
through 3 East African Countries
RWANDA - UGANDA - KENYA
27 September - 10 October 2025
Join Chris and me on the ultimate 14-day East African road-trip as we blaze a trail through Rwanda, Uganda, and Kenya. Chris does this route a few times a year and after doing trips with him in Uganda over the last 3 years, we mapped out this trip that promises adventurous day, a fusion of cultural and wildlife encounters + yoga amongst jaw-dropping landscapes.
Our epic journey starts in Kigali, the vibrant heartbeat of Rwanda. Dive headfirst into the city's vibrant tapestry, absorbing the energy of the Rwandan culture. Our first trek will start in the serene Volcanoes National Park in search of Golden Monkeys. The park is situated in the Virunga Mountains, a stunning volcanic range that straddles the borders of Rwanda, Uganda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The park's lush rainforests, towering volcanoes, and mist-shrouded peaks offer a unique and unforgettable experience for nature lovers, wildlife enthusiasts, and adventurers alike, making it a must-visit destination in Rwanda. But hold onto your hats, because the real adventure is just beginning…
As we cross the border into Uganda, get ready for a primate trekking experience that will leave your heart racing and your spirit soaring. The thrill of tracking down gorillas and chimpanzees in their natural habitat is nothing short of electrifying. Even though trekking is one of my favourite experiences here, this country stole my heart with her breathtaking landscapes, incredible wildlife encounters, warm hospitality and adventurous activities.
But the adrenaline doesn't stop there. We'll rev up our 4x4 Safari Landcruiser and point our compass towards Kenya, the land of legendary safaris. Brace yourself for the safari of a lifetime as we traverse the untamed wilderness of Masai Mara, boasting the African big five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros), as well as cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, and numerous species of antelope and birdlife. And picture this: a hot-air balloon ride at dawn, drifting above the majestic savannah, witnessing the awakening of Africa's iconic wildlife beneath you. It's the stuff dreams are made of…
If you hunger for adventure, if the call of the wild beckons, this road trip is your ticket to uncharted realms. Over the course of 2600 heart-pounding kilometers, we'll not only rack up miles but also create indelible memories that will etch themselves into your soul, lasting a lifetime. Join us, and let's chase adventure on the road less traveled.
