Join us for a deeply nourishing journey into the wild heart of Kenya. Our adventure begins with a grounding night in Nairobi, where we gather, settle in, and share our first meal under African skies. The following day, we travel to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a wildlife haven nestled on the foothills of Mount Kenya. For four magical nights, we’ll stay at the intimate Ol Pejeta Cottages, surrounded by nature, with nothing but birdsong and the occasional rustle of elephants nearby.
Our days flow between soulful yoga in nature, safari game drives at dawn and dusk, and wholesome meals prepared with love. We'll share lunch out in the wild, breathe deeply with the land, and connect with the rhythms of the savannah. A visit to the chimpanzee sanctuary and rhino conservation program offers powerful insight into Kenya’s wildlife protection efforts—raw, real, and heart-opening.

Touch down in vibrant Nairobi, where your African adventure begins. Settle into our cozy city stay, unwind from your travels, or explore a little—perhaps visit a local café, stroll through a leafy garden, or simply rest. In the evening, we’ll gather for a welcoming dinner to connect, share stories, and set our intentions for the journey ahead.

After a nourishing breakfast, we journey north to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, where wide open plains and abundant wildlife welcome us home. For the next four days, we slow down and sink into rhythm with the land.
Each morning begins with yoga under open skies—sunrise stretching over the savannah, breath deep and steady. Afterwards, enjoy a wholesome breakfast before setting out on morning safari game drives, where lions, elephants, giraffes, and rhinos roam freely.
Midday invites space for rest, journaling, a massage, or simply soaking in the natural beauty. On one special day, we’ll have lunch out in the wild, surrounded by nothing but open skies and birdsong.
Afternoons bring visits to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary and the Rhino Conservation Program, where you’ll learn about the incredible efforts to protect endangered species—a moving and memorable experience.
Evenings include sunset yoga or meditation, followed by shared dinners made with fresh, local ingredients. Under the stars, by the fire, we gather to reflect, connect, and feel the stillness of the African night.

You’ll arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, with time to connect flights or check into a hotel if you're extending your stay—or continuing on to the turquoise shores of Zanzibar, for those choosing the optional add-on.
We part ways feeling grounded, inspired, and reconnected—our hearts full, and our spirits touched by the magic of Kenya.

Our Nairobi Night - Our first evening in Nairobi allows us to ease into the journey. We’ll stay in a calm and cozy guesthouse or boutique hotel (TBA), share a welcome dinner, and gently settle into the rhythm of the retreat before heading north.

At Ol Pejeta Cottages, meals are a beautiful part of the retreat experience—fresh, wholesome, and made with love. Each dish is thoughtfully prepared using locally sourced ingredients, offering a fusion of international wellness cuisine and flavors inspired by the land.
Mornings begin with nourishing breakfasts—think tropical fruits, homemade granola, eggs to order, herbal teas, and fresh juices to energize your day. Lunches and dinners are vibrant and colorful, served al fresco or in the cozy dining space, with dishes that may include roasted vegetables, spiced lentil stews, grilled fish, and fresh salads dressed in zesty citrus.
Throughout the retreat, you’ll also get a gentle taste of Kenyan favorites—perhaps a comforting bowl of irio (a mashed blend of peas, potatoes, and greens), a side of sukuma wiki (braised collard greens), or chapati flatbreads warm from the griddle. Expect warming spices, plenty of flavor, and options to suit every dietary need.

At Ol Pejeta, our yoga practice becomes something truly special—rooted in nature, surrounded by wildlife, and held by the rhythms of the land. Each day, we gather on the open-air yoga deck, a wooden platform nestled among trees with sweeping views of the savannah. You might hear the distant call of birds, feel a breeze drift across your skin, or even catch a glimpse of zebras grazing nearby.
Morning sessions are energizing and expansive, designed to awaken the body and center the mind—moving with the sunrise, the earth beneath you, and the sky above. Evening practices are slow and grounding, with gentle movement, breathwork, and stillness as the sun melts into the horizon.
Our sessions are open to all levels, blending vinyasa flow, hatha inspired, slow flows, yin, guided meditations, and moments of quiet reflection. Whether you're an experienced practitioner or just beginning your journey, this is a space to reconnect—with your breath, your body, and the wild within.
